Do you use a merchant account to allow you mlm customers an easier way of purchasing your product or service?
Especially if you’re involved in a product focused network marketing company, where you regularly make retail sales to people not involved in your business opportunity, having your own merchant account can be a valuable asset.
Granted, most mlm companies do allow customers to order right from your distributor website. However, this won’t do you much good if you find yourself out a county fair, or weekend swap meet, and don’t have internet access. Even online, if your company allows it, having a personal merchant account can seem much more professional than using something like paypal, or just sending prospects to your cookie cutter website.
Some of the other benefits of an mlm merchant account are having your retail sales money deposited straight to checking or savings at your own bank right at the time of the sale … and not having to wait possibly a month or more for your network marketing company to process your check. Also you will gain additional credibility with your customers when you display the fact that you are able to accept all major credit cards. We all like to be able to buy with confidence.
Do you take credit cards through a personal merchant account? How has it helped you to build your mlm business and/or sell more network marketing products?
When getting a merchant account, make sure the provider is an expert in your industry. Ask question to make sure they are indeed knowledgeable, and not some run-of-the-mill salespersons.
